Finally, Spring is here! With the warm weather finally in full swing I’m gearing up for this year’s summer activities. Hiking, road trips to the beach, BBQ’s, and my favorite, outdoor Farmer’s Markets! Here are some shots from yesterday’s trip.
My favorite little stand sells the fruits and vegetables around. I make sure to grab a bag of salad greens from this stand weekly throughout the summer. They usually have tons of different strawberries ranging from insanely sweet to slightly tart that I can’t live without.
The newest addition to our little local market is this food truck. Run by three farmer’s from the Pioneer Valley, they offer a variety of seasonally inspired pocket sandwiches. I can’t wait to try these out next week! Check out their project here.
I can’t even explain how amazing this kettle corn is. Velma’s is the whole reason why I even know about this farmers’ market! One of the customers at my old job would deliver us huge bags of this kettle corn every week. Before I left, I asked him where I could find this taste of heaven and my love of this local market began.
Of course, I couldn’t forget my “eat local” bag to carry all of my market goodies.
