Just when I thought the busyness of wedding planning was done and over with, we hit the two weeks mark and I’m right back into it. I’ve been in a constant tango of anxiety and excitement. I think excitement is winning at this point… but it’s possible I’m just having a good day. So since I don’t have the time to sit and chat all day, here’s a glimpse at some of the things that have caught my eye over the past few weeks.
Mauve Slide on’s – This wedding planning stuff has allowed we to meet some pretty cool people. My make up artist is one of them. When I visited her salon for my trial the other day I had to pick up these Free People inspired Mauve Slide On’s. They had one left in my size, so I told myself it was meant to be. I’ve worn them a handful of times already and I swear they get more comfortable each time.
Lore: Season One – The television series based on Aaron Mahnke’s eerie non-fiction podcast has finally arrived – I’ve been eagerly awaiting its premier and can say that there’s a major Amazon Video binge coming my way soon. Included with your Prime membership, click here to learn more.
Cute Spanx (that’s right) – I’m not a Spanx wearer. Honestly, I’ve always just thought that if I need to wrap myself up to look good in something then it’s just too tight to begin with. However, somewhere in my browsing of wedding things I stumbled upon these. Cute, right? I thought so… I bought a pair and they have just enough control at the top without squeezing the life out of you. I sized up for a perfect fit.
Living Proof – My hair care routine consists of washing and shampooing (every 2-3 days) with whatever shampoo I last bought on sale. I’ve noticed more fly-aways and frizz than normal lately, along with some breaking. So, I finally committed to testing out some legit hair care products. I recently bought these three (1, 2, 3) products from Living Proof’s Restore line and so far I’m luuuuuuhuving what I see.
Holly Fox – I don’t know how I haven’t stumbled upon Holly Fox yet. Cookies so darn cute, you almost don’t want to eat them!! Her Pantone color matching skills are just amazing. She sells all of her cookies on Etsy, but make sure you order ahead of time – she sells out quick!
